Troop F Weekly Report 06-06 to 06-13-21

Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Cotton took a report from a contractor that a trailer of his was stolen from a construction site in New Limerick.  The trailer had been parked while work was being conducted and contained a variety of hand and power tools.  Leads have been developed in the case and the investigation is ongoing.

Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Cotton located and arrested a local woman on an outstanding warrant for her arrest for Failing to Appear.  The woman was located as Tr. Cotton was conducting interviews on a theft case that had occurred in the area.  She was arrested without incident and transported to the Aroostook County Jail.

Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Curtin took a theft report from a residence in Nashville Plt.  The victim reported she purchased an item online using PayPal.  After making the purchase she noticed a separate charge of $217 with a phone number next to the purchase.  She called the number and gave access to her PayPal as well as her banking information.  The suspects also asked her to purchase Apple and Google Play cards in exchange for them taking care of the charge.  .  Tr. Curtin gave the victim some resources for her and also advised her to contact PayPal about the activity to see if they could reverse the transaction.  The investigation is ongoing.

Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Sylvia was called to the Ruth Rd in Linneus for a report of a burglary of a motor vehicle.  The break in was believed to have occurred within the past day or two and the case remains under investigation.

Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Sylvia was called to the French Rd in New Limerick for a report of a residential burglary.  The homeowner reported the residence was ransacked and many items were missing.  The case remains under investigation.

Brief Synopsis:       Tr. Saucier took a report of Criminal Mischief at a camp in Moro Plt.  The camp owner reported their garden tractor was smashed into their camp gate causing damage to the tractor.  The case remains under investigation.
