The Maine State Police is seeking the public’s help in identifying a male operator who fled the scene of a motor vehicle crash on Sept. 18, 2020, at approximately 14 p.m. in the Town of Carmel.
Trooper Cooper Plaisted was dispatched to the report a motor vehicle crash, at the intersection of Dyer Road and Main Road (US Route 2) where the unknown man driving the vehicle and a known juvenile passenger reportedly fled the scene on foot toward Carmel Village.
As a result of the investigation, The Trooper learned that the man made a purchase at the Village Market, prior to the accident.
