04/12/21-04/18/21 Troop B Weekly Report

On 04/17/21, Tr. Lemieux conducted a motor vehicle stop at the Maine Mall for an expired inspection. The passenger in the vehicle was identified as Thomas Potter (34) of Kittery. He was on a set of bail conditions not to have direct or indirect contact with the driver. POTTER was on bail for domestic assault with priors. POTTER was placed under arrest. During search incident to arrest Tr. Phillips located a small amount of suspected meth in POTTERS pocket. 

 

On 4/12/21, Tr. Watson stopped a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker on the Merrill Rd. in Lewiston. The driver, Joshua Stevens (32) had recently finished his sentence in Warren for drug trafficking. The passenger identified himself as Jeremy Sutton (34). Sutton had a class B- Burglary Warrant from Lewiston as well as a Probation Revocation. He was placed under arrest without incident. A search of the vehicle did not yield any additional charges. Sutton was transported to the Androscoggin County Jail without incident.

 

  

On 04/14/21, Tr. Watson stopped a vehicle on Maguire Hill Rd. in Poland with no inspection sticker. The driver, Brett Cossar (30) was on bail for an OUI and his license was suspended. A bail check was conducted which yielded nothing further. The passenger, Heath Whitman (23) was licensed and drove the vehicle off. Cossar was charged accordingly.

 

On 04/15/21, Tr. Watson stopped a vehicle in Woodstock with no inspection sticker and multiple defects. The driver, Joshua Roman (39) had a suspended license out of North Carolina. The vehicle’s registration was also suspended. Roman had also been stopped the week prior by Cpl. Russell for the same violations. He was charged accordingly.

 

On 04/09/2021, Tr. Nadeau stopped Richard “Buddy” Edwards of Greene for Criminal speed. Richard was traveling 80mph in a 50mph zone. Tr. Nadeau issued Richard a VSAC for speed.

 

On 04/12/21, Tr. Watson stopped a vehicle with multiple defects on the College Rd in Greene. The registration ended up being suspended. The driver, Dustin Wilson (20) was charged accordingly.

On 04/13/21, Tr. James stopped Alec Miller (37 of Brunswick) for an inspection violation. Miller’s license was found to be under suspension for failure to pay fine. He was charged accordingly and released to a licensed driver.
