A resource guide for Franco-American Studies was created by Franco-American specialists in Maine in partnership with the Maine Department of Education. The guide's purpose is to assist K-12 teachers and students in locating available Franco-American resources about Maine and New England. This is not a complete list of resources. Recommendations for additional resources are welcomed and should be directed to Susan Pinette, director of Franco-American Studies, University of Maine.
Franco-American communities exist in nearly every county in Maine. Tteachers interested in engaging local communities can contact the Franco-American Centre at the University of Maine for an updated list of contacts who may be interested in exploring possible collaborations.
