Bomb Threats

The following direction and laws are associated with responding to bomb threats against Maine schools. 

• Bomb Threat Guide. This free interactive planning guide was developed by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Safe and Drug Free School and the U.S. Department of Of Justice's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
• Mandatory Online Bomb Threat Reporting. The Maine Department of Education's secure school bomb threat reporting database requires administrators to have a username and a case-sensitive password to report incidents. Your local Superintendent Office should have the username and password on file.
