ServSafe Test Only

The Maine DOE Child Nutrition team offers the ServSafe test three times during the school year.  Registration is required at LEAST two weeks prior to ensure testing materials are available.  Cost for the test is $51.00

Plan to arrive early, testing will begin promptly at 2:00 pm, late arrivals will not be allowed to take the exam.  Bring your photo ID, you will not be able to take the test without it.  Also bring pens or pencils and erasers. 

To register, please click the registration link on the test date of your choice.  If you need to retest, you can do so within 30 days.  You must wait 60 days for a second retest.

Payment is expected prior to the test date.  The Department of Education requires that payment be made by credit/debit care at the time of registration.

Food Safety Training

Offered by the Maine Department of Education-Child Nutrition

Cost is $102.00, this includes the ServSafe 7th Edition with answer sheet.

ServSafe no longer mails certificates. Individuals taking the exam MUST provide an email address. Once the exam is scored, an email is sent with information to look up the score and download the certificate.
