If your district’s Performance Report has not been submitted & approved, this needs to be done before the ESEA Consolidated Application will be eligible for substantial approval.
Friendly Reminders for Planning and Program Implementation for the month of June

Grants4ME initial training took place on May 25th & 26th.

Specific ESEA Application Training for ESEA Coordinators is on June 8th from 1 –3 PM.

Specific ESEA Application Training for District Business Managers is on June 2nd from 1 – 2:30 PM and June 9th from 9 – 10:30 AM.

All of the above trainings have been/will be recorded and available soon.

A Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) in relation to the trainings will also be available soon.
ESEA Data Dashboard

The updated ESSA Data Dashboard is updated for FY 20. Districts need to annually notify and educate their families about the ESSA Dashboard. Along with posting the link to the state’s ESSA Dashboard, districts need to provide an explanation to their families about the dashboard and the information found on the dashboard. Tutorials on how to use and navigate the dashboard are provided at the following link: (https://www.maine.gov/doe/learning/esea/guidance). We recommend posting this information on a district’s webpage and sharing it with your families.

We encourage Business Managers to submit monthly invoices for all ESEA titles.

Grants4ME
Sign up for the Grants4ME training sessions related to the ESEA Consolidated Application! Head to the professional learning calendar on the Department of Education website at https://www.maine.gov/doe/calendar. These sessions will be recorded.

In addition to the above trainings, there will be an open door zoom meeting on Thursday June 3rd from 8:30am to 3:00pm specifically for districts that are having issues logging into the new Grants4ME platform and / or having user access issues.
