The Maine Department of Education's ESEA Program Office has undergone reorganization, resulting in updated ESEA regional contacts for Maine school districts. For an updated list of ESEA Regional Program Managers, please review the Department's Priority Notice here:

Title II Program
Ryan Reed has officially started as the Title II Regional Program Manager, working specifically with Regions 3 (Washington) and 5 (Midcoast). He’s spent the last 12 years working in public schools and looks forward to working with all of you!
Fun Data Fact(s)
Roughly 65% of Maine's eligible school districts have begun working on the FY22 ESEA Application in the Department's new Grants4ME platform. There are also 26 calendar days until the FY22 ESEA Application submission deadline of August 1, 2021.
Friendly Reminders for Planning and Program Implementation for the month of July
ESEA Consolidated Application
ESEA Consolidated applications for FY ’22 can be submitted for review July 15th. Applications are due by August 1. Please reach out to your ESEA Regional Program Manager if you have more specific questions about the application.
Grants4ME Platform
To access more support on the Grants4ME platform, head to the ESEA webpage located here: http://www.maine.gov/doe/learning/esea/grants4me. On this page, you will find ESEA guidance documents for user access and role recommendations as well as a repository for step-by-step training videos about the platform.
Fiscal
We encourage Business Managers to submit monthly invoices for all ESEA titles.
State and Local
Professional Learning Opportunities
Professional Learning offered through the Department of Education is a fantastic resource for supporting leadership development for administrators and educators. The Department’s professional learning calendar is available at https://www.maine.gov/doe/calendar. This calendar has increased functionality including a search feature.
