This skill has been passed on for generations. Some may not have had the opportunity to learn it and would like to. Other may just want to have a connection with other knitters. All it takes is some yarn and needles and good conversation to get started. Knitting is a great brain exercise, helps with physical relaxation and is a great way to make new friends. Anyone can engage in knitting, old, young, males or females. A finished product will bring lots of satisfaction and bring confidence to the knitter.
