Summer Guidance
Summer 2021 Learning and Enrichment

In Maine, nearly every school has been open for some in-person instruction since Fall 2020. In most schools across the country, particularly in highpoverty and underserved communities, partially or fully remote instruction has lasted for the majority of the 2020-2021 school year. Summer 2021 provides an immediate opportunity to address inequities. A whole student approach that is based in the science of learning and development can help schools in addressing the conditions and needs for student growth.
