The Maine Department of Education and the Maine Learning Technology Initiative have convened an MLTI Software Advisory Group in the spring of 2022. This group is made up of previous MLTI Advisory Board members, as well as some new individuals with perspectives that we will aid this process. The responsibilities of this group will be to recommend guidelines and expectations for MLTI provided software with respect to current MLTI devices, student data privacy and equity of access for all MLTI students. If it is determined that an RFP process is necessary, this board will help inform that process and it will be completed by the DOE over the summer into the fall of school year 2022-2023.
