Amanda Moeser - Notice of Remote Aquaculture Lease Hearing

On July 12, 2021 at 3:00 p.m., the Department of Marine Resources (DMR) will hold a remote public hearing on the application of Amanda Moeser for a 9:00acre, 20-year standard aquaculture lease on a site located south of Lanes Island, Inner Casco Bay, Yarmouth, for the suspended and bottom culture of American/Eastern oysters, quahogs/hard clams, Atlantic sea scallops, and green sea urchins.

PARTICIPATING IN THE HEARING: Interested persons may participate in the remote hearing by computer or phone. To help manage the proceeding, interested persons need complete an online registration form no later than 5:00 p.m., June 27, 2021. After the registration deadline, DMR will contact interested persons with information about how to join the remote hearing. INTERVENING: Applications to intervene need to be received by DMR no later than 5:00 p.m., June 27, 2021. The DMR will decide whether to grant intervenor applications five days before the hearing. You do not need to be an intervenor to participate in the proceeding.
