Maine Oyster, Inc. - Remote Scoping Session

On January 11, 2021 at 4:30 p.m., a remote scoping session via Zoom will be conducted by Maine Oyster, Inc. on a proposed standard lease application for the bottom culture of American/Eastern oysters, on a 10-acre site located in the Upper Sheepscot River, East and South of Lehman Island, Newcastle. If the scoping session listed above is postponed, it will be held on January 13, 2021 at the same time and via Zoom. Notice of a cancellation will be posted on the Department's website and a notice will be posted at under "Meetings." A scoping session provides an opportunity for the public to learn about a proposed lease and to have an informal discussion with the applicant about the proposal. A copy of the lease application is available on DMRs website at: . Applications are listed alphabetically.

You can attend the meeting remotely or submit written comments on the proposal. The deadline for submitting written comments is 5:00 p.m. on January 25, 2021.
