Aquaculture Lease Hearing -Downeast Institute

On February 4, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., the Department of Marine Resources will hold a public hearing on the application of Downeast Institute for a 3-year aquaculture lease on a 4.00-acre site located near Mud Hole Point, Eastern Bay, Mud Hole Cove, Beals, Maine for the bottom and suspended culture of American/eastern oysters, European oysters, Artic surf clams, soft-shell clams, and razor claims. The hearing will take place at the Beals Town Office, 11 Big Pond Road, Beals, Maine. If the February 4, 2020 hearing is postponed or cannot be concluded by a reasonable hour, the hearing will be continued on February 6, 2020, at the same time and location.
