Aquaculture Lease Hearing - Black Stone Point Oysters LLC

On October 17, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., the Department of Marine Resources will hold a public hearing on the application of Black Stone Point Oysters LLC for a 12.98-acre, 20-year standard aquaculture lease on a site located south of Hog Island, Damariscotta River, Damariscotta, Maine, for suspended culture of American/eastern oysters and northern quahogs. The hearing will take place at the Damariscotta Town Hall, 21 School Street, Damariscotta, Maine. If the October 17, 2019, hearing is postponed or cannot be concluded by a reasonable hour, the hearing will be continued on October 23, 2019, at the same time and location. Notice of a postponement or a continuance will be posted to DMR's website and a notice will be posted at www.maine/dmr/index.html, under "Meetings."
