The next Lobster Advisory Council (LAC) Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 4:00 PM at the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, Room 101 (First Floor) in the Deering Building located at 90 Blossom Lane in Augusta. The building is located to the left of the Department of Marine Resources' Marquardt Building entrance.

The primary purpose of the LAC meeting is to discuss the Commissioner's plans for outreach to the Lobster Zone Councils regarding the draft proposals to achieve the 50% reduction in endlines and other methods of whale entanglement risk reduction.

The next round of Lobster Zone Council meetings will be scheduled for June, with locations to be determined.
