Description
Are you a new employee of DHHS? Want to know more about the Department of Health and Human Services but are a bit overwhelmed? Do you want to learn about working in diverse teams and what you can do to be successful? Then the Welcome to DHHS Certificate Program is for you!
Classes needed for this certificate are:
- Intro to DHHS Offices
Learn about the Offices of DHHS, the populations they serve and the services delivered. This is an online training available to take at any time. - DHHS Overview
This training discusses the strategic initiatives of DHHS, and what you can expect in your first year of employment at DHHS. It is available to you anytime here. - You in a Team
This 3 hour training, delivered through MS Teams, will assist you in greater understanding your personality and building upon that understanding to identify your strengths within a team environment. Visit here to choose a session that fits your schedule. - Recalibration or Stress Management
Choose from either of these one hour offerings from Northern Light Work Force EAP and Training. Learn ways to cope with stress to build resiliency for the transition into a new position. Register online.
Please note: Completion of this certificate program is voluntary, while the DHHS New Employee Orientation is required.
