Section 25, Dental: New Deep Sedation & Anesthesia Rates Implemented, CR 141439
As previously announced, MaineCare updated the deep sedation and anesthesia rates for Section 25, Dental providers effective July 1, 2026. We implemented these rates for billing today, July 29, 2026.

Adjustment Billing Guidance for Dates of Service July 1, 2026 – July 29, 2026
- MaineCare will adjust paid claims that you submitted with charges at or above the new rates.
- Providers are responsible for adjusting claims you submitted with charges below the new rates. Per policy and to avoid timely filing denials, adjustments must be submitted within 120 days of the most recent claim payment date.
