Date of birth ranges and vaccine groups were chosen to align with IISAR reporting specifications.

Data Inclusion Criteria
This dashboard includes individuals who meet the following conditions:
- Have a valid date of birth recorded
- Are not marked as deceased
- Have a valid Maine county of residence
- Have at least one immunization recorded in the IIS on or before the reporting end date
- Reside in Maine, based on the most recent available address information
County assignment is based on the individual’s county of residence rather than where vaccinations were administered.
Excluded Records
The dashboard excludes records that:
- Do not contain a valid county value
- Use placeholder or unknown county values
- Represent out-of-state or non-Maine residence classifications
- Do not contain any immunization activity prior to the reporting end date
- Are marked as deceased in the IIS
Because IIS data quality depends on reporting completeness and participation, rates should be interpreted as IIS-based coverage estimates rather than complete population census measurements.
