Healthy Androscoggin is offering a repeat Introductory Cultural Competency and Humility Training on Monday, August 24 from 10am-1pm. The training is free and lunch will be provided. The training is open to provider partners who are interested in re-attending or sending additional staff or those unable to attend the May 5th training. Priority will be given to staff at official REACH organizations not already trained and other organizations are welcome to attend as space allows. The training will be held at the Dempsey Center in Lewiston (address and parking information below). Fatuma Hussein, the Director of United Somali Women of Maine, will be the facilitator and a panel of Ethnic Community-Based Organizations will present as well.
