IV. NARRATIVE
The Maine Department of Environmental Protection (MDEP) received a report that there had been a spill of diesel at the Dragon Products Company quarry. There was no record of the spill being reported so I contacted Michael Martunus at Dragon to inquire. I was told that there had been an overfill of a fuel truck at the quarry and the contamination had been cleaned up. Mr. Martunus was unaware that the incident had not been reported to the MDEP. He forwarded me a report of the spill which is attached. No further action by the Division of Response Services is necessary in this matter.
