IV. NARRATIVE
It was reported to Response Services that an excavator hit some sharp ledge while working in a mine. While talking to Mike, I learned that the fuel was lost to blasted ledge. The excavator was working and as it moved side to side it rubbed on the rock. This caused a hole to form and fuel was lost. The fuel ran directly into cracks in the bedrock and was not recoverable. This area is used for mining and aggregate storage for Dragon Concrete. There was nothing further we could do to collect the lost fuel.No Further Response Action is needed at this time.
