Annual Reporting Requirements

The Legislature charges DECD with collecting information necessary for the State to administer the Pine Tree Development Zone (PTDZ) and Employment Tax Increment Financing (ETIF) Programs. To ensure full program compliance, reporting is mandatory.  Failure to file the required annual reports will result in termination from the programs. April 15th of each year is the deadline by which companies must submit the required annual reports for the most recently completed calendar year.  For example, if your company is certified  under PTDZ and/or ETIF in 2019 your first annual report(s) will be due April 15, 2020.

Companies enrolled in the PTDZ and/or ETIF program, prior to January 1 of the current calendar year, will be sent an annual reminder and instructions for the online filing of their ETIF report/reimbursement in late February/early March.
