Marketing Assistance Programs

Whether your business makes salsa or semiconductors, whether your challenge is getting your product to market for the first time or evaluating export opportunities, Maine has a marketing program to help you succeed.

The Domestic Trade Page is DECD's resource hub for Maine business owners, entrepreneurs, and startups from numerous industries who seek to expand their reach throughout the United States marketplace. Whether you're looking for trade shows & events to advertise your product or service, programs to build your acumen and infrastructure, grants to finance your next step, or group membership for a branding boost, the Domestic Trade Page can link you to Maine's vast array of exemplary domestic trade assistance providers. This effort is part of a larger Domestic Trade Program, which is currently in development.

Through its Maine Made America’s Best program, DECD directly supports the wide variety of high-quality and unique products crafted in Maine. Unified under one highly-recognizable logo and with supporting internet exposure, over 2000 member companies can take advantage of free or low-cost branding as well as the possibility of exhibiting at the annual New England Products Trade Show in Portland, which Maine Made sponsors.

The Maine International Trade Center (MITC) is DECD’s official international trade and investment office, a public-private partnership supported by the contributions of member companies and the state. MITC provides technical assistance, trade counseling and workshops, import and export leads, and international credit reports, as well as organizing and facilitating international trade shows and missions abroad.
