Effective Monday, March 30, 2020, the Maine Office of Marijuana Policy (OMP) will temporarily suspend public access to its office located in Augusta. This decision follows OMP's announcement that it had implemented a remote staffing plan for most employees and is made to further reinforce the public distancing guidance of our state and national health experts related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Despite these recent and forthcoming adjustments, OMP remains committed to continuing to serve our stakeholders. Current Maine Medical Marijuana Program (MMMP) registrants and prospective and conditional Adult Use Marijuana Program (AUMP) licensees may continue to interact with the office in a variety of ways:
- Online: https://www.maine.gov/dafs/omp/
- Phone: (207) 287-3282
- Mail: 162 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333-0162
Please consider sending MMMP-related applications and payments via the United States Postal Service or other common courier. AUMP applications—both individual identification cards and facility applications—are available online and payment may be remitted by mail. Tracking options are available to ensure delivery of your correspondence.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
