Do you know the difference between a bog and a swamp? Can you identify Ferry Beach's rare Tupelo tree? Do you know which animals live in the park? This nature walk will address these topics-and more-while introducing you to some of Ferry Beach's most fascinating environments! Wear sturdy shoes and dress for changing weather conditions. Meet at the Nature Center entrance. All ages welcome. Event may be cancelled or changed to an in-Nature Center activity in the event of continuous precipitation or lightning in the area. All ages welcome.
Nature Center Hours: 2-4pm Saturday August 6, 13, 20, 27 and 2-4pm Sunday August 7, 14, 21, 28

Cost: Free with park admission: $1.00 for ages 5-11, $5.00 for Maine residents ages 12-64, $7.00 for nonresidents ages 12-64, $2.00 for nonresidents 65 and older; persons under 5 and Maine residents 65 and older are free.
