COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics

The Office of Employee Health and Wellness and WellStarME have partnered with Osco Pharmacy to host COVID-19 second booster dose clinics at select Shaw's locations. These clinics are designed specifically for State of Maine employees, their family, and friends at no cost.

We strongly encourage people to make an appointment for the COVID-19 booster clinics to assist in social distancing, but walk-ins are welcome.

Below is the most recent guidance for COVID-19 second boosters from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:

  • People ages 12 years and older who are moderately or severely immunocompromised may choose to receive a second booster dose using an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine at least 4 months after the first booster dose (Pfizer 12+, Moderna 18+).
  • Adults ages 50 years and older who are not moderately or severely immunocompromised may choose to receive a second booster dose using an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine at least 4 months after the first booster dose.
  • People ages 18–49 years who are not moderately or severely immunocompromised and who received Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine as both their primary series dose and booster dose may receive a second booster dose using an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine at least 4 months after the first Janssen booster dose.

The in-store clinics will have the following vaccine option to choose from at no cost:

  • 2nd BOOSTER DOSE of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.

A few reminders:

  • Please wear a mask while attending your vaccination appointment.
