St. John River Resource Protection Plan Renewal – Zoning Petition ZP 224 Amendment D

The Land Use Planning Commission is seeking public comments on the proposed renewal of the St. John River Resource Protection Plan in T7 R17 WELS, T8 R17 WELS, T9 R16 WELS, T9 R17 WELS, Big Ten Twp., T10 R16 WELS, T11 R16 WELS, T11 R17 WELS, T12 R15 WELS, T12 R16 WELS, T13 R14 WELS, T13 R15 WELS, T14 R13 WELS, T14 R14 WELS, T15 R13 WELS, and T16 R12 WELS. A resource protection plan (Plan) and the associated Resource Plan Protection (P-RP) Subdistrict are currently in effect along these river segments. The first St. John River Resource Protection Plan was adopted by the Commission in 1982. The current Plan and P-RP zoning will expire on July 28, 2022. The landowners along the river corridor have made minor revisions to the plan and now seek approval for renewal of the ten-year Plan and accompanying P-RP subdistrict until 2032.
