It has been brought to the attention of the Workers' Comp Board that the 2002 Medical Fee Schedule published on this web site prior to June 10th contained the following errors:
CPT Code 65235 Remove foreign body from eye $894.60 should read $472.20
CPT Code 65260 Remove foreign body from eye $1,443.00 should read $683.40
CPT Code 65265 Remove foreign body from eye $1,648.20 should read $785.40
Appendix III, Surgery, Section 9 should include CPT code 13102 as a Reduced Procedure Code
Previous versions of the Fee Schedule indicated that Inpatient Hospital and Ambulatory Surgical Centers are reimbursed at a 5% discount if paid within 30 days. This version of the fee scheduled moved that section from Appendix III into the actual rule under Hospital Inpatient. By doing this, we inadvertently omitted "Ambulatory Surgical Centers". The rule has not changed - Surgery Centers are still entitled to the 5% discount.
