State Treasurer David Lemoine To Address New England Public Finance Conference

AUGUSTA- Maine State Treasurer David Lemoine is scheduled to address the Third Annual New England Public Finance Conference in Boston on Monday, October 17th. The conference, which will be held Oct. 17-18 at the Hilton Boston Back Bay in Boston, will feature numerous senior government finance officials, and many of the public finance industry’s leading professionals, discussing the most timely topics facing government and issuers of debt.

Lemoine will discuss the impact of the recent Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) activities in Maine and comment on the current state and local budget challenges, with varying geographic and economic-sector stories, that aggregate into the Maine economy.

Among other highlighted speakers will be Treasurers Timothy Cahill (MA), Michael Ablowich (NH), and U.S. Congressman Stephen F. Lynch (9th District- Massachusetts).
