Barbara Raths Named Deputy Treasurer

(AUGUSTA)- State Treasurer David G. Lemoine today named Barbara
Raths as
Deputy Treasurer for the State of Maine. “This is the highest level staff
position in the Office,” said Treasurer Lemoine, “and I am pleased to have
someone with her skills, experience and unflagging work-ethic fill the
position.”
Ms. Raths has been serving as Maine’s Assistant State Treasurer and is a
2004
graduate of University of Southern Maine’s School of Business where she
received her Masters in Business Administration. She is a 1996 Cum Laude
graduate of Bates College and resides in Portland with her husband, Joseph
Boucher. Ms. Raths has formerly served as a Deputy Secretary of State and as
a legislative aide for the Senate Majority Office.
