On July 1st, Governor Baldacci signed Executive Order 02 FY10/11 which designates the Maine Association of Non-Profits (MANP) as the state designee to apply for a Recovery Act grant from the United States Department of Health & Human Services.
The Strengthening Communities Fund - State, Local, and Tribal Government Capacity Building Program required that a non-profit organization applying on behalf of the state be designated by the Governor via Executive Order.

Additional details on the MANP application will be posted when the final proposal is submitted to US DHHS.
