Maine State Housing Authority (MaineHousing) intends to apply for federal funding under the Tax Credit Assistance Program (TCAP) administered by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development pursuant to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA).
Under ARRA, TCAP funds must be awarded competitively to eligible low-income housing tax credit projects in accordance with a selection process and criteria that are made available for public comment.
Accordingly, MaineHousing will accept public comment on its proposed selection process and criteria for awarding TCAP funds until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, May 20, 2009.
