Unsolved Homicides

Judy Flagg (SOLVED)

Case date: 1983

Town: Fayette

On January 6, 1983 at 2300 hours Flagg was discovered by her husband lying on the floor of her residence, in the kitchen, on the Watson Heights Road in Fayette. Flagg was the victim of a homicide. Flagg was last seen alive by her husband on 01-06-83 at 0515 hours as he left for work that morning for a 16 hour shift.

On September 8, 2006, The Kennebec Grand Jury returned a murder indictment against 49 year old Thomas Mitchell, an inmate at the Maine State Prison. Mitchell will be arraigned at the Augusta courthouse September 28th.
