Dorothy L. "Dottie" Milliken

Town: Lewiston

On November 6, 1976 at approximately 0440 hours, the body of Dorothy Milliken was found lying outside of Beal's Laundromat at 969 Lisbon Street in Lewiston, Maine.

Autopsy revealed Milliken died of blunt force trauma to the head. There was no sign of sexual assault or robbery.

Milliken frequently did her laundry late at night or in the early morning hours. On November 6th, she left her residence after her husband went to bed at approximately 2300 hours.

Possible suspects have been interviewed.

The family of Dorothy Milliken is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this crime.
