Major Crimes Unit South Weekly Highlight 11/19/2012

Detectives arrested Lebon Bruno for the murder of Elizabeth Williams who he killed in a Saco hotel room. Detectives began looking for Bruno Saturday afternoon and found him near the Bates St. homeless shelter in Lewiston. Bruno was taken into custody without incident. Bruno’s first court appearance will be Monday in York County District Court.

Det. Edstrom is investigating an alleged child sexual abuse case in Lebanon. The victim is a young female who is alleging a male family member assaulted her.

Det. Kennedy is investigating an alleged sexual assault of a young female in Parsonsfield.

Det. Harakles has served several warrants in the Patricia Noel homicide and is preparing for Grand Jury.

Det. Leighton and Det. Hainey attended the trial of BUDDY ROBINSON in Auburn. The jury found ROBINSON guilty of the murder of CHRISTIANA FESMIRE.

Polygraph Weekly:

Det James performed three polygraphs—one for Bath PD on a GSA case and two State Police Pre-employment examinations.

Det. James assisted Det. Ross in the arrest of Lebon Bruno in Lewiston for Murder.

Det. King conducted two pre-employment exams, one for Richmond PD and one for a tuition student. She also presented the Jane Tetreault homicide to the Homicide Review Panel.
