Troop B Weekly11/5/2012 Trooper Fillebrown and K-9 Aros completed K-9 Drug School. Trooper Fillebrown also received enough hours and now is an assistant k-9 trainer. Trooper Cote is investigating the Burglary of a vacant home on Botka Hill Road in Livermore. The home had been burglarized several times prior in which metal and piping had been stolen. This time thieves took more metal and a large copper bath tub. Trooper Cote charged a 17-year old Leavitt High School student for Terrorizing after he posted threats against MSAD 52 on Facebook. The threats caused alarm to the school and prompted them to call police. In addition to the criminal charge, the teen was suspended from the school. Trooper Maguire investigated an accidental shooting that occurred in Brownfield between family members and a close family friend. The father accidentally fired a round that went through his left hand due to a failure to perform basic firearms safety rules. No charges filed. Family member treated and released with no serious injury from Bridgton Hospital. Trooper Maguire recovered a stolen old Suzuki 25 ATV 4 wheeler found by Lily Pond in New Gloucester. It was stolen from the property of a New Gloucester man. Trooper Fillebrown overheard a complaint given to Paris PD of a possible intoxicated driver traveling on Route 26 towards West Paris. Tr. Fillebrown was able to locate the vehicle crossing into West Paris and observed erratic operation. The operator was found to be Operating after Revoked and OUI. The result of the test was .21 BRAC. Trooper Fillebrown stopped a vehicle in Greene for traveling 83 in a 35mph zone. The twenty year old was passing a friend and had two passengers in the car. This was his second criminal speed in two months. Trooper Maguire charged a 17 year old male with Cultivating Marijuana behind his residence in New Gloucester after 3 marijuana plants were found that were approximately 3 feet tall. |
