This week Troop J responded to 167 calls for service. The following are noteworthy complaints:

6-3-12

Trooper Chris Smith investigated a fight in Deer Isle. Wallace Gray II (26) was eventually arrested on a warrant and for assault. Marine Patrol Officer Rustin Ames and Hancock Sheriff’s Office Deputy Shane Campbell assisted with the investigation.

6-4-12

Trooper Kim Sawyer summonsed Kristi M. Doten (26) of Princeton for Criminal Trespass. The charge is the result of an incident that occurred on 5/27/12 in Princeton.

Trooper Daniel Ryan summonsed Stephenie Conway (25) in Deer Isle for operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Trooper Michael Southard and Detective Tom Pickering responded to a fight complaint in Sullivan where Charles Rayner (45) was arrested for assault and violation of conditional release for being intoxicated and having contact with prohibited persons.

Trooper Cliff Peterson investigated the theft of building material and equipment from a job site in Otis. This occurred over a period of time.

Trooper Jason Fowler summonsed Heidi Bach (47) of Bangor for criminal speed as the result of a traffic stop on Route 1 in Calais.

Trooper Daniel Ryan handled a theft complaint in Surry where items were stolen from inside a vehicle.

Trooper Andrew Foss summonsed Richard Matthews (50) in Dennysville for operating after suspension.

Trooper Michael Southard summonsed Adam Palmer (40) in Eastbrook for criminal simulation for altering his registration stickers on his vehicle. He was also summonsed for an expired inspection sticker and failure to provide evidence of insurance.

Trooper Michael Southard handled a phone harassment complaint in Hancock.

Trooper Barnard responded to a threatening complaint in Franklin. Linda Hoglund (52) was arrested for assault and transported to the Hancock County jail.

Trooper Greg Mitchell arrested Peter Butler (49) of Tremont for stalking his ex-girlfriend.

Trooper Kim Sawyer received a call from Lambert Lake that someone had shot at the complainant’s dog with a BB gun. The party was warned for the conduct.

Sergeant Alden Bustard responded to a 911 hang up call at the Jonathan London (47) residence in Oakfield. London advised that he dialed 911 accidentally while trying to dial 411. Sergeant Bustard arrested London on an outstanding arrest warrant out of Houlton District Court for failure to appear.

Trooper Kim Sawyer arrested Stephen G. Greenlaw (45) of Hermon for violating a protection order after the protected party was stopped for speeding on Rte. 9, Wesley. Stephen was a passenger in the vehicle.

Trooper Reid Bond handled a motor vehicle crash on Rt-9 in Crawford. Simone Simonson (20) was summoned for operating without a license. Trooper Bond was assisted by Trooper Kimberly Sawyer.

Trooper Reid Bond summonsed Heath Delaite (24) for operating after suspension as a result of investigating a disabled motor vehicle on Rt-1 in Harrington. In addition to the operating after suspension Delaite was arrested on an active warrant out of Newport District Court for unpaid fines.

Trooper Greg Mitchell summonsed Tara Astbury (34) of Penobscot for residential burglary and theft of prescription medication that occurred on Penobscot.

Trooper Reid Bond summonsed Julia Joan Downey (39) of Halifax Nova Scotia for criminal speed on Rt-9 in Township 30.
