Weekly Highlights-Media Version3/26/2012 3-19-12 Trooper Miles Carpenter handled a threatening/harassment via telephone complaint in Whiting. Investigation continues. Trooper Andrew Foss summonsed Kari Brearley, 25, in Machias for possession of a usable amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Trooper Staci Carpenter investigated a burglary complaint at Due East Real Estate in Lubec. The business had been broken into during the weekend and miscellaneous electronics were taken. The investigation continues. 3-20-12 Sergeant Jeffrey Ingemi and Trooper Michael Southard attended an EMS supper in Ellsworth. Trooper Miles Carpenter and Trooper Andrew Foss responded to Perry for a report of a vehicle crash where the operator fled into a wooded area. After searching a wooded area for several hours, Michael Prenier, 29, was arrested by Trooper Carpenter for operating without a license, failure to report an accident by quickest means and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. Washington Sheriff’s Office and Pleasant Point Police Department assisted. 3-21-12 Trooper Greg Roy received a burglary complaint in Steuben. Scores Pub was broken into and three large screen TVs were stolen. Investigation continues. Trooper Greg Roy responded to a report in Mariaville that farm animals were being attacked by two dogs. By the time Trooper Roy arrived, two large goats had been killed, two goats were badly injured and one chicken was killed. The investigation revealed the owner of the dogs was Gary Paine, 41, of Mariaville. Gary was subsequently charged for various animal violations by the Mariaville Animal Control Officer. 3-22-12 Sergeant Jeffrey Ingemi summonsed Kenneth Dishuk, 36, in Marshfield for a civil infraction of operating after suspension. Trooper Andrew Foss handled a theft complaint in Princeton where tools were reported stolen from a shed. Investigation continues. Trooper Michael Southard arrested Jeremy Robbins, 26, in Sedgwick for operating after suspension and improper plates. Trooper Sawyer summonsed Robert B. Johnson, 47, of Perry for attaching false plates and operating an unregistered motor vehicle after a traffic stop on Route 1, Baileyville for speed and no inspection certificate. 3-23-12 Trooper Jason Fowler served as a Field Training Officer this week. Trooper Chad Lindsey and Trooper Jason Fowler investigated a bail violation. Trooper Lindsey arrested Chester Carter, 55, of Baileyville for Violation of Conditions of Release. |
