New Sweden poisoning case closed

Deputy Attorney General Bill Stokes at Tuesday’s news conference in Bangor announcing that Maine’s most publicized homicide case was being concluded. Major Timothy Doyle and Colonel Poulin stood with Stokes as he made the announcement. Investigators concluded that Daniel Bondeson acted alone in the poisoning three years ago that killed one person and sickened 15 others at the Gustaf Adolph Lutheran Church in New Sweden.
