7th Annual Maine Digital Government Summit
By Lisa Leahy, OIT
Tuesday, October 6, 2009, Augusta Civic Center
Governor Baldacci is counting on IT to help move Maine forward in these challenging times. The Maine Digital Government Summit provides an opportunity for leaders from across the state to gather annually and share ideas on crucial IT issues. The Summit has continued to grow each year and draws all levels of government together. Municipalities, local and state government agencies are increasingly turning to technology to reduce government operating costs. In order to serve our citizens appropriately, we must seek higher levels of integration and synergy between our government colleagues and commercial partners The Maine Digital Government Summit provides a cost-effective and convenient forum for us to meet and discuss our common challenges. I encourage you to attend and look forward to seeing you there. - Richard Thompson , Chief Information Officer, State of Maine
