Any Deer Permit Lottery Application System

The Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife is pleased to announce the launch of an enhanced Any Deer Permit Lottery Application site. This site allows any Maine resident, non-resident or Canadian resident to complete an entry into Maine's Annual Any Deer Permit Lottery 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no payment required to enter the lottery. This service was developed in partnership with InforME and can be accessed at https://www.maine.gov/online/nedeer.

The upgraded site offers many new features to users including the ability of the system to pre-fill all details (except payment) for those users who applied to the lottery in the previous year. In addition to the auto-complete feature, the system also provides the ability for a user to edit their submitted application at any point until the August 17 deadline. The upgraded site conforms to the standards of the Maine.gov online service template which offers users a streamlined and user-friendly online transaction.

The enhanced site launched on June 18, 2009 and allows users to complete an entry into the 2009 Season Lottery. The deadline for an application submission to this year's lottery was August 17. A chance drawing will be administered on September 11.
