2009 MMA Technology Conference

The Maine Municipal Association and co-sponsor Maine GIS User Group (MEGUG) present a day long workshop covering a myriad of technological topics.

Sessions encompass three track areas:

• Best Practices for Technology Use
• Interactive Web Services
• Expanding GIS Capacity Across Governments with Map Services:  The New Data Sharing Paradigm

State of Maine CIO Dick Thompson and John Christie, publisher, Journal/Morning Sentinel, will discuss how technology changes what we do.

OIT employees can apply eight hours toward their training stipend for attending the conference. Staff should contact their supervisor for approval. Registration for the event is at:
