The 2011 OIT MERIT Awards
Congratulations to the winners and all nominated for the annual State of Maine, Office of Information Technology’s (OIT) Maine Excellence Recognition in Technology (MERIT) awards.
In between sessions of the December 14th All Hands meeting, the OIT Acting Chief Information Officer Greg McNeal announced the names of all staff nominated for a 2011 MERIT award. The well-attended event recognized the efforts and accomplishments of all OIT employees with the special honors going to the following:
Employee (Individual) of the Year: Scott McNeill
Manager of the Year: Craig Hitchings
Team of the Year: The OIT Billing Team
CIO McNeal recognized each winner with a public reading relating some of their accomplishments and presented each with a traditional plaque to commemorate their service.
