The "Green Team" is on the Move

Yes, you have heard correctly that the majority of the CIO’s Enterprise Strategic Services (Green Team) will move from 26 Edison Drive to the Augusta Industrial Park on Anthony Avenue in the near future. The CIO, Associate CIO, and the staff of E-Government Services, the Project Management Office and Policy and Strategic Planning Services, a total of 21 employees, including interns, will relocate. The Performance Management and Administration and the Security offices have made the decision to stay at 26 Edison Drive where their services are most needed to carry out their missions.

The reason for this move is to provide much needed space at Edison Drive for the Enterprise Technology Services group (Blue Team) to bring together their staff that is currently dispersed throughout the Augusta area.

The decision for the Anthony Avenue location was based on the cost and the professional look of the building. We are currently in the process of finalizing the lease with J & R Associates. The blue print has been approved and the module furniture has been ordered. We have begun the process of obtaining quotes for movers.
