New Policy Adoption/Revision Process

Effective May 9, 2006, the Policy on the Adoption/Revision of Enterprise Information Technology Policies, Procedures and Standards (5/9/2006), has been adopted by Chief Information Officer, Dick Thompson. The purpose of this policy, http://www.maine.gov/oit/oitpolicies/index.htm is to establish a methodology and process to adopt, and subsequently revise or abolish Maine State Government Information Technology policies, procedures, standards and best practices. This policy replaced the General Policies for Administering Standards adopted by the Information Services Policy Board December 7, 2000.
