13. I use part of my home for business purposes. How do I file for a refund?

Claim only the property tax assessed on the portion of your home that is exclusively used as your personal residence. Enter on the application the amount of property tax assessed for the residential portion of your home. Also, do not claim any property tax amount claimed as a business expense on your federal income tax return.
