Portland - Everett Chambers

Constructed in 1902, Everett Chambers was designed by noted Portland architect Frederick A. Tompson for Charles Perry, a well known local real estate entrepreneur. Purportedly the longest operating lodging house in Portland, the 2005 certified rehabilitation of this building created dormitory space for students at the Maine College of Art and recaptured the historic character of the first floor commercial spaces through a complete rehabilitation of the storefronts.
