RE: Mainecare Procedures and Enrollment Form for Section 28

The Departments of Education and Health and Human Services have been working collaboratively to develop refinements to Mainecare policies that will facilitate billing by school administrative units for medically necessary services.

The Maine Department of Education has developed procedures for school providers of Section 28 services for children birth through five and an enrollment form for the Section 28 policy. These documents can be accessed at: http://www.maine.gov/education/medicaid/index.html or http://www.maine.gov/dhhs/ocfs/cbhs/

Please complete the enrollment form and submit to the appropriate regional office of DHHS/CBHS on the bottom of the form.
