>Level 4: 85% State Contribution (employee pays 15%) $309.20 biweekly

The level of the actual value of state paid health insurance will be based on the employee's wage rate and status with regard to the health credit premium program as of July 1, 2011.

Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center is a 54 bed psychiatric hospital serving the entire State's geographic area that provides services for people with severe mental illness.

Job Duties

Job Duties:
DDPC is seeking a Chief Operations Officer to function as a member of DDPC senior management providing backup in the superintendent's absence. This position participates in the development of long-range strategic plans and governance structure. This position will supervise contracts, the Dietary Department, and oversee the Emergency Management Plan in conjunction with the Safety Officer. This position will conduct investigations, act as an HR liaison, provide fiscal oversight of several program areas, and provide backup for grievance and guardianship processes. This position will ensure that DDPC policies and procedures are current and in line with TJC standards. This is a temporary acting capacity position.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in business or health care administration is required, graduate degree preferred. Ten years of progressive responsibility in a healthcare setting with a minimum of five years of supervisory experience in a healthcare field is required.

Only post-secondary degrees from a College or University whose accreditation has been granted from a nationally recognized accreditation agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education will satisfy educational requirements. Information can be obtained at http://www.ope.ed.gov/accreditation/. Foreign degrees must be evaluated by the World Education Services for authentication and US equivalency.
